Helles Weizensauerteigbrot ohne Hefe

This simple same day sourdough bread only requires very little hands-on time but still yields a delicious loaf with an airy crumb and crispy crust.  

Let’s get started!

What you'll need 

- Active sourdough starter - All-purpose flour  - Water  - Salt 

Schritt 1

Mix all the ingredients together until well combined and let the dough proof in a warm spot for 4 hours. 

Schritt 2

Shape the dough into a batard and let it proof in an oval banneton for another 2 hours. 

Schritt 3

Bake in a dutch oven for 25 minutes at 230° C. Then finish baking uncovered for another 15 minutes. 

Schritt 4

Let cool completely before slicing. Enjoy!
