Classic Lasagna al Forno Recipe

Nothing beats delicious lasagna al forno entirely made from scratch! This recipe  features silky homemade pasta sheets, layered with slow cooked ragù alla Bolognese and creamy béchamel sauce. It’s topped with a layer of mozzarella and parmesan cheese, baked to perfection for a deeply golden brown top.

Why you should try this recipe

It's rich, decadent and full of flavor. The bolognese sauce is slowly cooked over multiple hours which releases the best flavors and contributes to a creamy and velvety texture. In combination with the fresh pasta sheets and creamy béchamel sauce, it's the ultimate comfort food.  Definitely a bit more time consuming, but the results are well worth the effort!

How to Layer Lasagne - Step 1

Spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom of the baking dish. Then add the frist layer of pasta sheets. Spread another layer of meat sauce on top.
