Easy Cinnamon Swirl French Toast Recipe
This cinnamon swirl French toast is perfect for anyone who loves a sweet, decadent breakfast. The best part, it's done in under 15 minutes with only a handful of ingredients.

- 4 - 6 thick slices of cinnamon swirl bread or brioche bread
- 2 eggs - medium size
- 60 ml ( 1/4 cup) milk or heavy cream
- 1 tbsp sugar - regular sugar or brown sugar
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tbsp butter
- toppings of your choice - e.g. fresh berries, fruit compote, maple syrup, powdered sugar
Pre-heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. In a wide, shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon.
Add one tablespoon of butter to the pan and let it melt. Meanwhile, dip two slices of bread into the egg mixture, let it soak for a few seconds, flip it over and make sure that both sides are covered with the mixture.
Place the slices in the pan and cook until golden brown over medium heat, about 2 -3 minutes on each side. Repeat with the remaining slices.
Serve it hot with fresh berries, maple syrup or any other toppings of your choice.
